Kayla Bright
Kayla Bright joined the fire service in 2016 at the Delaware City Fire Company. She joined Aetna's Live-In program in June of 2021 and has earned NFPA Firefighter I & II certifications as well as her National Registry Emergency Medical Technician certification. Kayla is a student at the University of Delaware and is studying Medical Diagnostics with a focus on Pre-Physicians Assistant. Kayla feels that Aetna HH&L company best suits her so she can provide “service to others” to her fellow UD students and the greater Newark area.

Hall
Tyjuan started in the fire service in 2019. He joined his hometown department in Elkton Maryland because he couldn't imagine spending his time doing anything else. He decided to apply and become an Aetna Live-In because he wanted to be a part of a department that was going to push him to be his best and not accept mediocrity.
Michael Hemphill
Michael joined Aetna in 2019 and became a Live-In later that year. While a Live-In, he attended the University of Delaware and graduated with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree. He is currently employed by Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division as an Engineering Student Trainee. He will return to UD for one more year to finish a graduate degree and is looking forward to see what his final year as a Live-In will hold.
Anthony LaSalvia
Anthony LaSalvia joined Aetna in 2021 as a part of the live-in program. He is currently attending the University of Delaware and has completed training including Firefighter I and II, and is a Nationally Certified EMT. He feels that Aetna is the place where he can do the most good for the most people.
Jolie Milburn
Jolie joined the fire service in 2017 and Aetna’s live-in program in 2021. She has completed a variety of training from Firefighter I & II, to Fire Officer I, Fire Inspector I, and Instructor I. Jolie is a Rope Rescue Technician, Hazardous Materials Technician, as well as a Delaware EMT. She recently graduated with a degree in Fire Science Technology. Jolie is currently working part time as an EMT.
James Mooney
James joined Aetna in 2022 after starting as a firefighter in Bridgewater, New Jersey. He is a state certified Swift-water Rescue Technician, with the goal of also becoming an EMT. James is currently attending the University of Delaware studying Criminal Justice. He joined Aetna because he wanted to help others and serve the community of Newark in order to continue doing what he loves while being away at college.
James Robinson
James is a firefighter who is originally from Williamstown, NJ. He joined Aetna as a live-in to be able to make a difference and to better his skills and gain experience to further his growth as a firefighter.
Grant Unterreiner
Grant joined Aetna in 2020 after starting as a Firefighter in Maryland. He has a variety of training including Firefighter 1 & 2 and Fire Officer 1 & 2. Grant has obtained a bachelors degree from Wilmington University and is currently pursuing a career in computer networking.
