Open Burning

307.1 Open burning, recreational fire and portable outdoor fireplaces: There shall be no open burning, bonfires, recreational fires, or fires in portable outdoor fireplaces within the City of Newark without a fire safety permit as required in Section 105.8.

Exception: Portable outdoor fireplaces used at detached one- and two-family dwellings, with expressed written permission from the property owner.
