At 2237 hours on 6/13/2014, Aetna along with the Christiana Fire Company were dispatched to Interstate 95 Northbound in the area of Old Baltimore Pike for a commercial vehicle fire with a large fuel load.  Upon arrival units found an RV towing a trailer which contained a drag race car with a fire in the trailer.  Crews had difficulty accessing the fire which they attempted to control with water and dry chemical extinguishers.  Due to the specialized fuel, it was difficult to extinguish but crews were able to keep the fire from spreading.  A foam truck from the Delaware Air National Guard was requested to respond and eventually the fire was extinguished.  Photos courtesy of The News Journal (Kyle Grantham).
