On July 7th at 10:49, Aetna, along with Singerly Fire Company (Cecil County 3-13-14) and Chesapeake City Fire Company (Cecil County 2-12), was dispatched for a house trailer on fire located at 12 Pleasant Valley Trailer Park.  Ambulance A-10 was first to arrive at 10:55 and reported smoke showing from a single wide trailer.  This then added Christiana Fire Company (3-6-12) for the RIT and NCC EMS units Medic 6 and ALS 25 to the response.  Engine 9-5 arrived and the crew placed a 1 3/4" hand line in service.  The hand line was advanced into the trailer, where fire was found toward the rear of the structure.  As additional units arrived, they assisted with search and ventilation of the structure.  Tanker 13 from Singerly was also placed in service for water supply, since there are no hydrants in this area.  The fire was quickly extinguished and crews checked for extension.  The incident was placed under control by command at 11:24.  1 occupant was transported to Union Hospital by A-10 and Medic 6 for minor injuries.  All units were able to clear the scene by 12:47.

Units On Scene: 7-4, Squrt 7, A-8, 8-2, 9-5, A-10, Cecil Engine 2, Cecil Engine 3, Cecil Tanker 13, Cecil Rescue 13, 12-6, Medic 6, ALS 25, and Delaware State Fire Marshal.
