On March 23rd at 10:16, Aetna was dispatched for an MVC reported with wires down at the intersection of Pulaski Highway and Cognac Drive in Glasgow.  As units started to respond, the incident was upgraded to an MVC with Entrapment.  This added New Castle County Medic 6 and ALS 25 to the response as well.  Ambulance A-10 was first to arrive at 10:25, finding an pick-up truck overturned in a ditch with the driver trapped.  Engine 9-3 arrived shortly after A-10, and the crew set up for extrication.  Cecil County Engine 3-1-1 (Singerly Fire Company) had been operating at a crash just over the state line on Pulaski Highway, and they made the response to assist as well.  The truck had been involved in that crash in Maryland before crossing into Delaware.  The vehicle was stabilized, and then the crews from Aetna and Singerly worked together to extricate the patient.  Extrication was completed at 10:46.  The patient was then transported to Christiana ER by A-10 and Medic 6.  All units were clear the scene by 11:02.

Units on Scene: A-9, A-10, 9-3, EMS 9, 9-8, Traffic 9, Aetna Fire Police, 3-1-1, Medic 6, ALS 25, and Delaware State Police
