Unattended Candle Fire

posted Nov 10, 2012, 8:04 AM by Charles Mitchell

At 0350 on October 31, 2012 Aetna and mutual aid companies were dispatched to a house fire, when crews arrived they found a fire that was extinguished by the homeowner.  This was a close call for the occupants and the cause was an unattended candle. Please ensure you have working smoke detectors and  remember to never leave a candle unattended.
