On January 14th, 2012 at 0900 hrs. Aetna, Christiana, Singerly and Millcreek were alerted to a High-Life Hazard Structure Fire at on S. College Avenue, with report of a smoke condition on the first floor. Engine 7-4 responded, followed shortly by 9-5 and other apparatus from neighboring companies.

On arrival, crew of 7-4 found the fire to be extinguished and contained to a corner in a room, apparently held at bay by the sprinkler system. 7-4 reduced the assignment to Aetna units after ensuring no spread of the fire and secured the power to the room.
