Newark Police Perform CPR on Unresponsive 2 Year Old Child

On September 25th, 2013 the Newark Police Department responded to a medical emergency in the unit block of Allison Lane. Upon their arrival, responding officers found a family member holding a two year old child who was unresponsive and had no pulse. The officers initiated CPR and continued their efforts until the child was turned over to Aetna Hose Hook & Ladder personnel who continued CPR and transported the child to the Christiana Hospital. The child became responsive while en route to the hospital. He was later 
transported to A.I. DuPont Children’s hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
