MVC with entrapment on Glasgow Ave at Old County Rd

At 1839 on Tuesday evening Aetna, New Castle County Paramedics and Delaware State Police Aviation were dispatched an motor vehicle collision with entrapment on Glasgow Avenue at Old County Road.  A chief from the Odessa Fire Company, 24-8C, was passing by and at 1840 he advised of one subject trapped.  This location is very close to both Aetna Station 10 and NCC Paramedic Station 6.  Ambulance A10, Engine 10-5 and Medic 6 all arrived at 1843.  The officer from 10-5 established command and the crew began extrication.  The patient was quickly removed at 1846.  Occupants of the vehicles involved were transported to Christiana Hospital by Aetna ambulances A10 and A7.  Once a safe area was established the scene was turned over to the Delaware State Police for investigation.
