At 4:10am on the morning of November 7th, Aetna along with neighboring departments were alerted to a working fire in 100 block of E. Main St.   Engine 9-3 and 8-2 both quickly responded and were on scene within four minutes of dispatch. Crews found fire showing from the rear of the second floor and placed  multiple 1.75" lines in service.  Additional crews assisted with searches and checking exposures.  The scene was placed under control at 0447.  Crews preformed overhaul for another hour before clearing the scene and turning over to the City Fire Marshal for investigation.  Departments on scene- Christiana Fire Company, Mill Creek Fire Company, Minquas  Fire Company, NCCEMS,  UD-1, and NPD.    Thank you to the additional companies that covered the district during the alarm.
