On February 4th at 14;26, Aetna Hose Hook & Ladder, along with Singerly Fire Company (Cecil County 3-13-14) and Chesapeake City Fire Company (Cecil County 2-12) was dispatched for a house fire across from 2057 Pleasant Valley Road.  Deputy 9 arrived at 14:30 and reported smoke showing from a possibly vacant house at 2050 Pleasant Valley Road.  This added Christiana Fire Company (3-6-12) for RIT and NCC Medic 6 to the response.  Engines 7-4 and 9-5 arrived at 14:35, with 9-5 laying a 5" supply line from the hydrant.  9-5's crew stretched a 1 3/4" hand line into the structure, while 7-4's crew got a back up hand line stretched.  Once the hand line was inside, a small fire was found in a back bedroom and it was quickly extinguished.  9-5's crew checked for any extension while the crew from 7-4 conducted a search.  All searches were negative and there was minimal fire extension.  Deputy 9 reduced the assignment to the units that were on scene at 14:44.  Units assisted the fire marshal and conducted a small amount of overhaul.  The incident was placed under control at 15:29 and all units were clear by 15:33.

Units on Scene: 7-4, B-9, 9-3, 9-5, A-10, Rescue 13, Ladder 12, ALS 25, Delaware State Fire Marshal
