On February 27th at 14:59, Aetna was dispatched for an engine to assist the Singerly Fire Company of Elkton, MD (Cecil County 3-13-14) on a working house fire on Sycamore Road.  Squrt 7 made the response at 15:06 and arrived about 4 minutes later due to the incident being located just over the state line.  On arrival crews from Singerly were already on scene with fire throughout a 1 story house.  The crew from Squrt 7 was initially assigned as the RIT.  A walk around of the building was conducted and fire was found buring in the basement, 1st floor, and attic.  An exterior basement access was located and Squrt 7's crew forced entry to the door in case it was needed as an access or egress point.  As Singerly crews were operating inside, the floor became unstable and all firefighters were removed from the structure.  Once the bulk of the fire was knocked down from the exterior, the crew assisted with overhaul in the living room area.  It was also found that a large portion of the floor in the area leading to the bedrooms had collapsed into the basement, and there were holes found in the kitchen floor as well.  After finishing overhaul, the crew assisted with additional fire ground tasks as needed before being released around 17:00.
