On May 2nd at 11:41, Aetna, along with Christiana Fire Company (3-6-12) and Singerly Fire Company (Cecil County 3-13-14) was dispatched for a building fire at 341 Thorn Lane at the Studio Green Apartments.  Engine 7-4 had just backed into the station, so they responded immediately.  7-4 arrived at 11:44 and found fire showing from a first floor apartment.  The hydrant was right in front of the building, allowing for quick establishment of a supply line.  The crew from 7-4 placed a 1-3/4 inch hand line in service and advanced into the fire apartment.  They found fire involving 1 bedroom, and quickly extinguished the same.  As additional units arrived, the crews were tasked with search, ventilation, throwing ground ladders, and checking for extension.  Deputy 9 had command and placed the incident under control at 12:12 holding Aetna units and Engine 12-6.  All units were clear at 13:01 and the scene was turned over to the State Fire Marshal.
