America's 9-11 Foundation Annual Bike Ride

posted Aug 27, 2011, 12:26 PM by Charles Mitchell

On August 20, 2011, Aetna manned the overpasses on I-95 for the America’s 911 Foundation Annual Bike Ride from Shanksville PA to Arlington, VA, and then onto New York, NY. They wanted to have one bike for every victim of the September 11, 2001 attacks. They had that and more! The bike column was between 18 to 23 miles long when it reached Delaware and passed through at approximately 1200hrs. Many civilians stopped to show support as well.
