Wednesday afternoon February 18th, Aetna and mutual aid departments were dispatched to a working commercial structure fire in the 700 block of Pencader Drive, with a reported fire on the roof.  While crews were responding, Wilmington Fire Department Lieutenant Turner went on scene with fire from the roof then advised that the building was still occupied.  Due to the report, the Chief requested the second alarm be sounded and to stage second alarm units at Glasgow High School.  Crews arrived and simultaneously began fire attack on the roof and searches of the building.  Crews knocked down the fire down quickly but remained on scene for over two hours due to extensive overhaul required on the roof.  The fire was investigated by the Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office, all fire department personnel cleared by 2000 hours.
